Samsung Galaxy S4 - Screen lock on incoming call. Help!!

So whenever I answer an incoming call the screen goes black and none of the buttons work. I can't get back into my phone until the person hangs up. How can I stop this from happening? I can't seem to
Find any settings to change this

Sounds like either restarting your phone would be the easiest option. A factory reset will more than likely do the trick. I had an issue like this as well, only when a call came in that was listed as "private" or "anonymous" my damn phone wouldn't answer. When I tried sliding the answer icon over, it wouldn't slide. I just restarted it and so far so good.

Any word on whether the resets worked? I'm having the exact same problem. Especially annoying when the incoming call is automated and never hangs up on its own-- I have to pull the battery to hang up.

Tried the factory reset but no success. Still having the same problem.
