Speaker question

When you take off the back cover and look at the speaker it's so big at the bottom but yet the grill is small shouldn't they have made it so the grill matches the speaker size, can't that blow your speakers since not a lot of room for the sound to escape

Speakers can only be blown when excessive power is run through them. The sound sooner or later goes to something else, like the back cover the front of the phone.
