Hi;

I would like to share the pics and mp3s that are on my S4 with my home network. Is this possible? I dont want to have to run an app on the S4 and or limit its use like when it is mounted through the usb cord. What I would like to do is share yhe dcim folder and the music folder on my android. Then when ever my phone is on my wi-fi network, I could click a shortcut on my desktop pc and see the pics that are on my phone. All the while, my daughter may be playing a game on my phone or even talking on it. I want it fully networked just as if it was another pc on the network sharing directories. Is this possible? I have seen airdroid, but it is really not what I want. I have to run airdroid from my phone first before I can access the files.

Thanks for any help

I set Dropbox (it's native to the phone) to automatically upload all pictures to the cloud.

When I click Dropbox in my PCs task bar, my pictures are there.

I didn't check to see if it works for music, but it should.
