Galaxy s4 - screen smashed need to retrieve data urgently

hi new to the forum! have an urgent query and this looked like the best forum to help

basically my galaxy s4 screen has been smashed and has now gone blank and nothing appears, i have a lockscreen/number code on it so when i attach it via usb to the computer it doesnt bring up any information that i have on my phone, luckily i have insurance so the insurance company will bring a new phone in Thursday morning however it means i only have less than 2 days to retrieve all my data from my phone, i have a lot of important stuff on there and i really need to get it all off i.e notes, contacts, photos etc

if anyone can help i would really appreciate it, as i have been trying endlessly to get the information off since... thanks!

Did you have USB Debugging enabled on the device so you can use ADB Commands to pull the files?
