Svoice issue on S4

Hey there people! I'm having a little issue here with my S voice application just over two weeks ago I started having troubles with the S voice application not waking up in sleep mode using the head set remote button I upgraded to 4.4.2 well over a month ago I am disabled and confined to wheelchair and have very limited use of my hands so this function on the galaxy s4 was one of the selling features I was definitely wanting. does anybody know if this is something new that has been implemented or if there is some kind of work around system I really need to be able to use the S voice with my microphone headset button when the phone is asleep
