What is wrong with my S4's battery?

It's charging so slowly! GSAM reckons 15 hours from a wall outlet even though it's at 1200 mA. Is there something in Kit Kat doing it. Charging seems to become super slow for no reason. The phone knows it's plugged in to AC so I don't get why it's not working. Hate to say it, as I've been saying a lot in my threads, my iPod never does this, consistent charging the entire time I've had it. Always seem to get burned when I buy Samsung :/

So, if anyone can tell me why charging is so slow that would be great

EDIT: I had it plugged in to the wall for about two hours and all it managed was about 5%
Finally it's picked up the pace and is saying two hours, but had it done that from the beginning, it would be done by now

Or maybe it's the cable going bad?

Obvious question: did you use other chargers, different wall outlets? What happens when connected to pc?

I tried different wall outlets, same results. I didn't think to try the PC's USB ports though
