Which direction is your S4's LCD polarization?

So I broke my glass and rather than risking the counterfeit replacement LCDs or bad glass replacements, I went through the pain of sending it to Samsung for over a week and having to reinstall everything since they reflash the device. When it came back, I now have problems seeing the screen with my polarized sunglasses, and I'm pretty sure this didn't happen before. The replacement LCD is polarized such that it goes dark when held in portrait orientation (vertical) and I'm wearing my sunglasses. I checked a friend's S4 Active, and it indeed goes dark in landscape orientation (horizontal). I'm 99% sure that my stock screen was also horizontal as I never had problems reading it when vertical - which is how I use the GPS in my car. I'm wondering if Samsung just has two LCD suppliers that they use randomly, or if the repair facility doesn't use the same LCD as the manufacturing. Which way is yours?
