I have s4 but trouble watching live events
Is the processor fast enough
Is it worth upgrading to s5 ,and paying bit more for the 2.5 processor??

The processor should work just fine. If you absolutely feel like upgrading, I'd go LG G3.

The Processor is more than powerful enough be it the 1.9GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or the 1.6GHz Octa Core Samsung Exynos 5410 CPU, both are capable of Full HD (HD1080P) video recording and playback, so the CPU/GPU isn't the problem.

1. What sort of difficulty are you having?
2. What are you using to stream the events? WiFi or 3G/HSDPA or 4G LTE?
3. Are you in an area with good coverage if you're using the cellular network?
4. What app or web browser are you using?

You need to give us more info so we can try figure out where the issue is exactly, also let us know which S4 you have e.g. the I9500, I9505 or I9506, to find this go to:
Settings -More -About Device -Model Number.

Also let us know what network you're on.

You may just find that the issue is minor and needs a small fix, the S4 is still a very capable smartphone, the difference between it and most 2014 high end smartphones e.g. S5, One M8, Xperia Z2 and G3 isn't huge in terms of performance and features.
