Dear all,

I bought a Samsung galaxy s4 i9505 two months ago. It was running well with the usual batery consumption and with usual heating around camera. Yesterday morning when i pulled it out of my pocket i found it in safe mode and hot, Turned it off, removed battery turned it on and it was normal. Yesterday evening pulled it out of the pocket it was totally off, tried to turn it on but battery totaly drained 1%. I go home put it in charge and showed 30% battery. Since this phenomenon it gets very hot in the upper part, so hot that volume and power buttons are hot too and battery drains in minutes.
I dont have an sdcard and im not roted.

Any suggestions. Im starting to feel concerned.

Here are some pictures from battery usage and Gsam battery.

Thanks for your help

The only thing I can think of is what I've read before on here & that's to take the battery out & lay it on a flat surface & spin it. If it spins freely you have a faulty battery if it doesn't spin freely then the battery is ok. If the battery is faulty you need to get a new one.
