Gmail update

Today I updated Gmail where I can add another email account which I did but the problem is that pictures don't show neither does the text so I can't read it in the Gmail app. If i go to the stock email app I can see everything. How can I see everything using the Gmail app?

When I tried it, it worked fine but very much slower than my maildroid app. So I'm sticking with maildroid.
Make sure you have ticked the box as per example

Think that box is ticked in settings. The pictures are loading now but don't show straight away.

After a few hours I went back to the same email & an option appeared which says show pictures I clicked on that then another option shows up saying always show pictures from this sender I clicked that on all my emails & it now works on my inbox but can't figure it out on my junk emails. No option appears.
