How do I get my Samsung S4 off of a logo and connect it to a laptop?

Samsung S4 stuck in logo and does not connect to laptop

Hi,

I need some help. My mobile (Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500) this morning decided to reboot, only to end up in the Samsung S4 logo. This logo appears and disappears every 5 seconds. I trid to connect it to Kies/ Ordin but the laptop (and Ordin/Kies) cannot intercept the mobile. I also tried to get the mobile in download mode (Pressing home + vol down + power buttons and after press volume up) but after the warning sign the mobile returns to the previous status (logo appearing/disappering).

Anyone can tell we what's the best approach to this problem?

Bringing it to the carrier's repair department. It may have to be JTAGed. (Expensive device, and it takes knowledge and experience to reflash a phone with it.) Or it may need a new motherboard - some component may have gone bad.
