My Galaxy S4 no longer recognizes my password for the lock screen it only recognizes my face. How can I fix this

Welcome to Android Central! So if it recognizes your face, go to Settings>Security​, and change the screen lock to password, then enter a new password. Are you saying that it never recognizes your password?
