How can I fix my soft bricked Galaxy S4 (at&t)?

soft brick on galaxy s4 at&t, need help!

long story short, i tried using odin to unroot and get back to stock firmware and had no luck. my phone went into soft brick mode. i read a bunch of stuff and even tried using kies with my s/n to fix it and now im screwed. no matter what i try odin fails. and kies cant load updates im assuming because im rooted. pleas help, im not out of contract yet so getting a new phone will really suck. thank you

Assuming you're using the right ROM for your model S4 (the SGH-I337), and a recent version of Odin (3.09 or the 3.10 link in our guide [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN), and the phone is connected to a port on the computer, not a USB hub, if the flash fails it's probably a hardware problem in the phone.
