Verizon Galaxy S4 Lollipop Auto-brightness, where is the adaptive brightness?

Verizon Galaxy S4 Lollipop Auto-brightness

Since I updated to lollipop I've had issues with the auto-brightness. I turned off the auto-brightness, then turn the brightness all the way up, then about a minute later it goes dim again. I can't find the adaptive brightness that everyone is talking about. Is there anyway to actually keep the brightness from going up or down?

Re: Verizon Galaxy S4 Lollipop Auto-brightness

After it goes dim, if you don't do anything, does the screen shut off after about a minute? That's the screen shutoff - first it dims, then it turns off. (I guess so that you can touch it when it dims to keep it from turning off - since I have Tasker changing the timeout depending on what app's running, I don't worry about such things.)

If it just dims and brightens by itself, you have either a corrupt update or a hardware problem.
