How can I get my G4 to pair with my Bose wave radio?

G4 won't pair with Bose wave radio. help!

My old G3 pairs fine. I unpaired the G3 and shut it off. The G4 is in scanning, discovery mode, visible to the Bose. Blue tooth on Base is on and flashing "connecting". Tried shutting both off and on. Ready to pull hair out. Any help appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you have an LG G4 or a Samsung Galaxy S4? You posted in the S4 forum.

Can you specify which Wave you have? And just to be sure, do you have to press any kind of Connect button on the Wave in order for the phone to detect it?
