How to Transfer Data from HTC Backup (HTC One) to Samsung Galaxy S4

Hi,
Got a new Galaxy S4, because my HTC One Mini no longer powers on.
How do I transfer all the back up data from HTC One Mini to Samsung Galaxy S4.

Powering one HTC One Mini is not an option - that phone is done.
I found that back I stored under:

C/users/ [User Name] / AppData / Local/ HTC MediaHub / HSMBackup

Method 1: all files are coded so I cannot see the file name. I can rename files to Doc or Mov, but cannot find messages

Method 2: Need help finding another method as Method 1 is too long and inconvenient. I cannot find my text messages, or notes.

What software can I use?

I have a feeling if their coded changing the file type wont allow you to read them. There are programs out there where you can change multiple files to different formats at once but I cant remember the one I used unfortunately but I am still unsure if that would work. Your best bet might be to contact HTC. Not sure if the HTC file transfer app will work since you have to have a pin for it from the old phone.
