is it possible to unlock an AT&T Sasmsung Galaxy S4 to be used on the Verizon network

So about a year ago I left at&t. I have the Galaxy S4 i used while i was an at&t customer. I joined verizon a little over a year ago and I am not able to upgrade for another year. I really like my S4. I have been trying to do some research to find out if I can get this phone unlocked and use it. I do not know a lot about phone tech. I know at&t uses sim cards and verizon does not. The Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 model SCH-I337. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

Yes, it can be done, but your service won't work well. Att and Verizon are 2 completely different network protocols. You are better off selling it and using the money towards Carrier Unlocked device or a Verizon device.
