I don't have daily location history even the location history is on. As of 5th Oct 2015 now, my last data available on location history is mid Aug 2015. In total, I have 5 places in 2015, and 8 places in 2014. I check this via the link: www dot google dot com/maps/timeline
I have been using Gmail Account, and Android device since 2010. It should have all the daily data since 2010.
I check that the Location History is turned on, which is on my Google Account (My Account -> Activity controls -> Places you go is on).
As I said, I have only 13 (5+8) days' data, and the last date is 18th Aug 2015, which means the settings on my phone is also on. I cannot remember I turned off explicitly since then. Can anyone explain?
Could it be that the location data still be sent to google, when the location service is off and other service is being used, e.g. Google Map?
My phone is Samsung S4, and Android 5.
