Can't forward an Internet link in Firefox from a Gmail account

So I have Gmail as my provider, having changed from Yahoo. I had initially set up my email accounts on my Galaxy S4, I set up my Yahoo accounts. I tried to add my Gmail account, but it said "For Gmail account, use Gmail app." On any article in Firefox I can press the left soft-menu button next to the home button, and I get an option to mail the link, send it to Facebook, bookmark it, etc. But now, whenever I select email I only get my Yahoo email options to send from. So any responses come back to an email I don't use anymore. I don't want to have to open Gmail manually, paste in the URL, etc, to fast-forward a link to someone.

Is there a solution for this?

Have you already tried clearings defaults for the Yahoo app in your settings?
