Can I remove LCD from working phone to broken one? (S4)

Hi there! So recently I dropped my s4 and the glass stayed intact but the lcd cracked and screen went black. I have a friend with an AT&T s4 (mine is verizon) and his screen is mint. Can I remove the lcd from his safely and transfer it to mine? I know when I removed mine I broke the lcd silver film, but mine was already cracked so no biggie. Will the AT&T lcd unit fit and can I safely remove it and put it on mine? Thanks so much!

You can't easily move the screen. But you can transfer the main board from the att one to the verizon one easily.
