My S4 works fine on MetroPCS and in general I have not had problems. However, I have not been able to use it as a Hot Spot. MetroPCS no longer requires a separate fee for this ability. The settings take me to a T-Mobile-ish (pink trim) screen and my S4 will recognize my tethered device (I've tried with WiFi AND hard-wire), but no matter what I do, I am unable to get Internet access from my tethered device.
One Authorized Reseller said it was because I was out of 4G LTE data, but I tried again after my data reset and still no dice. My 4G LTE signal will be strong and I can surf just fine.
I have looked for third-party Apps in the Play Store but most seem to just be skins on top of the native settings app.
Anyone had similar issues with this combination of facts AND resolved it?
