My Samsung Galaxy S4 is stuck on the logo screen after root. What do I do?

My Samsung Galaxy S4 is stuck on the logo screen after root.

So, after root my s4 just shut off and when I turned it back on again it is stuck on that logo on lollipop 5.0.1 where the samsung logo has little blue balls exploding out of it every two seconds and it stayed like that. Factory reset would really suck because I have important information on it. I tried everything like taking battery off etc. Thank you

Something that's worked for me in the past in a bootloop was to use odin. I would install any recovery,or even reinstall root with it and it would boot back up. This was on the s5 at the time but I think it'll still help you.
