i cant send text messages

For the last few weeks I couldn't send text messages at all , i would get a message failed message.l can receive them just fine,I recently change to t mobile recently due what i though was service issues with Verizon.I can use my phone fine now accept i can't send a single text message to one person, but i can send a group messages and picture messages fine. I have tried every single method I've seen on here and other websites with with no luck.I wanted to try changing the smcs number but i can't get into the hidden menus as per the instructions i saw here.It keeps telling me the numbers is not in service.I would appreciate any help to fix the problem.

I was having the same problem and followed all the advice I could online to no avail. I went to Metro PCS and they fixed it. Look in your spam settings in Messaging and see if the number is listed. If it is then clear it with all 1s or delete it if available.
