I have a Galaxy S4 SCH-i545 (Android 5.0.1) with a wifi connection that is consistently extremely weak (standing in front of router won't give a full signal). I have ruled out these possible problems:
1) Router is fine. My wife has the same model S4 and it works fine. Other devices work fine.
2) Factory reset the phone multiple times. Both with and without restoring previous apps. No change.
3) Pulled up antenna spring clip to ensure contact with back bezel. No change.
Does the actual wifi antenna reside in the back bezel? Could replacing the entire bezel be a viable solution? Everything else works fine (mobile network, bluetooth, etc.) except for the wifi.
Any other advice is appreciated.
