Windows Live mail and samsung email app

I have a Galaxy S4 and I have been using it for my email for over a year with no problem. I use Windows live. Yesterday all of a sudden it stopped working and couldn't send or receive mail. I have deleted my account and tried to load it again and it says it cant authenticate the account. What's the issue. Is it a Windows Live thing or a phone thing? Help appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to log into your Windows Live Mail on your computer? When you re-added the Windows Live email account back to the stock Email app on the phone, did you make sure all of the login information was exactly correct?
