Hey, is there any reasonable explanation as to why an app that someone else downloaded on their phone, has turned up on my phone as well? We both have samsungs, I've had mine for over a year and he has just got a new one. He downloaded a universal remote and somehow I noticed it shortly after on mine.
Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

P.s- if there's any way this could be related to some sort of tracking on my phone etc do not hesitate to say so as it would not suprise me.

Welcome to Android Central! You don't share an account, correct? Try going to Settings>Accounts>Google on your phone, and make sure it only shows your account.

Also, is it possible your friend was using a computer that was logged into your Google account, searched for the app on the Google Play Store website, and then clicked Install, mistakenly thinking he was logged into his account? This would cause the app to start installing on your phone remotely.
