Why isn't my Hotspot working on my Galaxy S5 and Sprint LTE network?

Hotspot doesnt work on Galaxy S5 and Sprint LTE network

I own a Galaxy S5 phone and have Sprint service. If you choose SETTINGS>MORE NETWORKS>MOBILE NETWORKS>NETWORK MODE>LTE/CDMA for your networks setting the hotspot will not work. This is not just a problem on my phone. I had a Sprint customer service person try it on the phone they had on display in their store and it also does not work. If you select CDMA instead of LTE/CDMA as the network mode then the hotspot does work. This in unfortunate since the LTE is the faster network. Sprint is not helping solve this and I also get no response from Samsung either.

I have been getting the runaround from Sprint wit this same exact situation for a year now. Still paying for the service, but getting no service. I can connect my laptop to my S5, but get no internet connectivity unless I drop to 3g CDMA only ode on my phone.

Anyone understand what s wrong here?

I am running Android 6.01 now. Problem seemed to have appeared after upgrading to Android 5 some time ago.
