Samsung Galaxy S5mini Duos root failed.
I have a stock (afaik) SM-G800H. I grabbed the file "CF-Auto-Root-kmini3g-kmini3gxx-smg800h.tar" from chainfire and used Odin 3.07 to flash the auto root to my device. Everything went according to plan, resulting in Odin saying passed. However I did not get rooted, superuser is not installed and rootchecker says, Sorry root access is not properly installed on my device. Device SM-G800H Andriod version 4.4.2.
Edit, I just went to, application manager, on my phone and the shield SU icon is in the list (however its not in the applications home screen), I cannot clear the cache of 20kb.
Any one else have this issue?
Edit x2... okay, done it. Maybe the tutorial needs a caveat. I grabbed the updated Superuser.APK and installed it via ES file explorer, reset my phone, and then ran the newly installed Super user file (which then appeared in my apps screen). Was instantly asked to diable, KNOX, clicked on yes and voila'. Got it working.
