why my s5 mini takes so long before finally ringing

a few people complained that I take forever to answer so I decided to dial my mobile no ,the fone rang from my side bt my cell phone was not ringing for a good few seconds then it started to ring.

please help

Welcome.
Check in your Settings under Sound to see if there is a option to increase the ring volume/ramp up time. It may be enabled.
