Root help please

Ok I have a Samsung galaxy s5 mini g 800a at&t 5.1.1 and I need either a self root app or very easy lamen terms instructions on how I cat root my mobile device or unlock it whatever is better I've tried everything EVERYTHING unless it is way too complicated in fear of hard bricking my phone I've never had this much trouble before but I'm at a loss on this one tho..and is there any way to get good signal in a horrible signal area ?? (And yes this app is safe, very common app)

If that doesnt work try googling your device + your model number on google then add "How to root" you should get some helpful results..
