That's the old vRoot. It works. Maybe not on 4.4.4 or Lollipop, though. If it can't it'll just tell you that it can't.

The question is why you want to root your phone. Is whatever you're going to do worth losing the warranty?

I have no warranty and is like to flash a different ROM. I used it for a free Visual Land tablet and I just happened to open it up with my phone hooked up to my computer. I didn't go through though. Am I better off using the Chainfire suite?
