Download files from S5 with a non-functional screen.

My wife dropped her S5 and shattered the screen now the screen is dead, no picture
The phone rings, it receives text ... etc, it's fully functional . there are a number of pictures, videos and other information I would like to download.
To copy those files to my PC there is a setting on the phone that needs to be set, since I can't access that setting can't transfer those files .
Does anyone know of a way to set that setting without using the screen :-[, is there a debug mode that will allow the file transfer . The tech at the sprint store (repair center) had no idea how it can be done .

Any help with this is greatly appreciated .

If you have USB Debugging enabled, plug in your USB cable to your PC and Phone and go to Download mode. Then you have access to your files.

If that doesn't work, try going to recovery mode.
