Sometimes you need to reflash the CF-Auto-Root kernel a second time in Download mode. Failing that, you can flash the stock Samsung firmware for your model of phone, CSC and Product code as per #1.11 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide. At least it will get you up and running again and allow you to try rooting once more.

CF-Auto-Root is the #1 method for rooting and I would recommend trying again, slowly and carefully. Ensure that you have things like USB Debugging enabled on your phone, in Developer Options before flashing the unzipped CF kernel .tar file in AP: of Odin that has Re-partition unchecked.

It is and still does not work, it worked for a bit after i flashed TWRP but after restarting it got stuck in the Samsung logo.

I may have found the reason but just trying to check to confirm as i saw a person saying that you don't need. Do you need to Unlock Bootloaders for samsung devices?

That is the $64,000 question. Generally, I would say no. However, certain carriers, notably AT&T and Verizon, have introduced the mega locked down bootloaders. There are 2 firmwares for the Brazilian dual sim model. One is an unbranded and unlocked one and the other is for the carrier, TIM. I cannot say if TIM have the mega locked down bootloader. To see which firmware you are on, install Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store and post the full, "Product Code", that it shows unless you know already that you are on unbranded or TIM.

Hello and welcome to Android Central ExcalibuR373!

The AT&T carrier minority variants are unrootable thanks to AT&T's own mega locked down bootloader I am afraid.

This is my post on Whirlpool. I and others have found this method the best solution. https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2249322&p=14
"On SM-G900I with 6.0.1 stock, I couldn't get CF-Auto -root to finish booting by auto or manual. So flashed TWRP with latest Odin then flashed SuperSu with TWRP. Couldn't install Xposed, so I installed Wanam and flashed a special Wanam version of Xposed with TWRP.
All root programs seem to be working well."
Hope this helps.
