As the title says, who is rooting their S5 the minute root is achieved?

If you are going to root, what's the main reason for doing so? Remove bloat? Access to root only Apps? ROMs?

Also, does Knox discourage anyone from rooting their device?

If root is available I will sign on to it. I prefer the rooted experience even if I can't get around the bootloader.

I think it might matter how much crap is on the S5. If there is so much 'extra' features, and Knox playing the wonderful role it has with other devices, I may skip it, save my money and get the GPe.
Pretty much for Xposed and the option of a better kernel.

I always tend to root toward the end of the devices use for me or right until I'm about to upgrade. As much as I enjoy rooting, I do find the random side effects and broken things cumbersome for daily use. I guess I just don't have the time to fiddle with rooting if I'm to be truthful.

If for some reason I get the S5 (unlikely) I will definitely root as soon as possible. We saw people having issues rooting and flashing custom ROMs after the 4.3 update so I think Samsung would patch any exploits as soon as they can.
I'll do it for A) Nandroid backups and B) Custom ROMs since I don't expect them to have improved TW
