Not a chance. Compared to the S4, it looks sleek modern and NOT a fingerprint magnet like the back of my S4 is.

Not at all... The back plate looks to have a nice grip feel too it, which is a welcomed change from the slippery plain plastic backs of the S3, and S4. But at the end of the day, most of these phones will be protected by cases which will hide anything that might hurt once eyes, lol...

I hate the way the back looks on the S5. Looks like a damn band aid or a golf ball. lol

I find it funny everyone complained about the "cheap, glossy plastic" and samsung changes it and everyone complains about it now too, yet everyone loved the nexus 7 back which this is essentially the same thing.

The overall look isn't bad what I don't understand is why they made it bigger and bulkier, I know they have a bigger screen but it doesn't justify adding all that size to the overall look, instead of decreasing the bezel they seemed to add to it

What do you guys think, do you like the bigger size of the overall device?

The reason they did it is to allow for the dust and water proofing. Don't like it either but I guess it's a fair trade off

Yeah, I wasn't getting the phone regardless of what it was like, but a 5.2 inch screen in a similar size chassis it would have been awesome

I guess Samsung didn't want to go with the Faux Leather like the Note 3 because the public may reach that they didn't change anything. :sly:

No I don't think so.

The black looks quite elegant to me. The other colours I need to see in the flesh becuase different pictures are giving me different vibes.

I don't think they look tacky at all.

Everybody have their own opinion, but for me S5 was a disappointment. Bad design and boring spec. Camera got better ofc but that happen every year, wanted something more for a high end 2014 smartphone. Will I get one? Yes, but just to try and compare. My hopes is on G3 or HTC I guess, or if Samsung show a "f" in different design and metal.
