The phone manufacturers will prefer to make more money by charging more for 16 to 32

Sad but true. It cost probably less than $5 for that change in memory for them.

I pointed this out in another thread, too, but even at $5 to go from 16 GB to 32 GB (your definition of "cheap"), when you multiply it by 40M phones, that's $200M. So is $200M really "cheap?" That sounds like a lot of money to me and I'm guessing Samsung management and share holders agree.

Is that for consumer price for SD cards? Or is that for the onboard memory on the phone?
I would assume bulk buy so it could be less.

A $19.60 difference in manufacturing costs between 16 and 64 GB, yet the retail difference is $200 😲

I think it's just the battery charger that costs $40. The battery costs around $15

The GN3 has 25GB of usable space out of the box (32GB) device so a 32GB GS5 should be in the same range if not a big higher given the lack of "Note" software. I am looking to return my GN3 I got last week and wait the 6 weeks for the GS5 so I can compare them in person. GN3 is a great phone but sometimes its just too big.
