I found out that IP67 doesn't support sea water I guess it doesn't do with with the salt.
hopefully one day they can do it!
Even in fresh water, I'm not sure that 30 minutes at 1 meter would be enough margin for swimming. It's designed more for preventing the, "Oh crap, I dropped my phone in the toilet" types of failures rather than making the phone appropriate for swimming.

I think it will still be fine as long as you rinse the phone in fresh water after the exposure to the salt water to prevent the seals from being deteriorated.

I wonder how long it will take to wear out that micro USB cover, though. Makes me want a wireless charging solution.

Does it even have a water sensor anymore (for anything past its limits or whatever)? Usually I don't want to leave a phone on the bathroom counter during a shower in case the steam sets it off... can't imagine it hurting that phone, but old worries die hard...
