Apps that only like internal memory.
Some of the larger games take up a couple GB each. If you want more than a couple of them then you need more than 8GB of internal space.Ok..... lets say you have 8GB of usable space. Isnt that a lot of room for apps?

Looks like if you game on your phone.... then a 32gb is a better option. Looks like I can make by with a 16gb.
And I can move more apps to the SD card if I want.

Keep your apps in Internal storage. It makes things simpler and prevents problems (corrupt files & sd cards)....unless Google has fixed this with 4.4 KK.
This is what I've been reading at various sites over the last week. My current phone has a total of 1.2 GB for apps now. Yes 32gb is optimal but I don't game on the phone so 16(internal)+64 (sd) should suffice well for me.Was at the Att store today. The demo had 10.53 GB of available storage. I took a pic but can't upload it. I'm sure the production model is higher by a bit with the Att demo crap not on there.

Not only games, apps takes up alot of space and photos/videos also takes big part of internal memory. Since KitKat dont allow write access anylonger to external memory cards. This will cause alot of problems and 16GB after kitkat update is way to small. Unless you dont takes any photos or videos, store media files and sure 16GB can be enough.... what issue cant be solved with lets say a 64gb or even a 128gb sd card?

These days 32GB is mininum as I see it and all because damn Google disallow write access to external memory cards.
