Default Galaxy S5: Pool Drop Test

GalaxyNexus at Phandroid.com posted a link to a video I think was pretty neat. I don't think I will be trying this but nice to see.

That is cool I guess. I just wouldn't do that either if the phone isn't labeled as waterproof .

I saw a video where a guy put the s5 in a pot of boiling water.

After a min it was still working. He pulled it out had a warning saying it closed the apps. Cause it was over heating.

Then the screen went out. it was done on the phone that he did the drop test on. So it had broken screen, I think water got in thru that.

Holy crap, that's awesome. I can see all the videos that will be coming out with moms videoing (in 4K no less) their infants' first swim lessons. This video makes me seriously no longer worry about my decision on the S5 over the M8!

I saw a vid (can't find it now) of a guy putting an S5 through a full cycle in a washing machine. Seemed to come up out no worse for the wear for the most part.

Nice, thanks. I really doubt I'll ever be so careless as to leave my phone in my pocket before doing laundry, but good to know the S5 has a good shot at surviving.
