Screen coming on by itself?

I've had the S5 since Friday. I love the device, but the only thing I noticed that bugs me is that the screen seems to come on by itself at unwanted times... pulling it out of my pocket, for example. It's resulted in my music playing by itself, screenshots, etc. It's like ****-dialing 2.0. I'm sure there is no pending notification when this is occurring.

Has anyone else experienced this? I just turned off the "Smart Alert" feature, but that shouldn't apply if there isn't a pending notification, right?

Yes this happened to me yesterday . I don't know what caused it but I pulled off the battery and it seemed to stop it. Also, I couldn't get any sound while that was happening. My keyboard was silent and if I tried to play music through the speaker it was just silent.
