After taking pics and looking at the result? I feel like its still grainy compared to other phones. Are their settings to make pics look better besudes higher resolution and hdr?

I agree and I'm bummed because I gave up the 5s for this because it was supposed to be good/the same as it.

I see nothing wrong. Make sure you guys take off the protective plastic lens on the camera!

I am the odd man out I guess. This takes better pics than the S4, and the M8. I like it. The LG G2 was probably just as good.

The pictures are decent and the plastic lens are off. I guess you just can't take good up close pictures unless there's a setting for it. I'm just saying it could be better zooming in after you take the pic too

So go back to the Iphone 5S. I think both and I have both in the house take great pictures and I feel blessed that we have in our hands so much power compared to just five year ago.,
We all need to take these forums like a grain of salt. Some problems people would never even worry about if not for these forums. Plus the larger screen on the GS5 makes it easier to show off your pictures! Besides 16 meg picture allow you to really get close ups

Yeah whatever. I just showed my breakfast photo to a professional photographer, and he said my pic is stunning. I'll take his word over you guys.

Play this isn't bad but it looks better on the phone before I snap the shot. This is even with picture stabilizer. Am I doing something wrong?

That's a good pic, what do you feel is wrong with it? You can also enhance it through editing and it makes it a bit more crisp, also is the sun behind you? Meaning, are you blocking the natural sunlight?

I have taken pictures and the pic quality is the best of all the smartphones I've owned. Reviews about the S5 have all been positive... raving about how good the camera is as well. Perhaps there is something wrong with your camera or the camera software.
