Anyone ever find anyway to stop the volume from decreasing when you connect auxiliary cable On my S 5? I realize from the pop up that it's a safety feature for your hearing when having headset on, but I connect it in my car while driving and it's a safety issue for me while driving to have to go volume and turn it back up. Every forum I've searched didn't find a way, but some said there was an app that might stop it, but didn't know name of app.

I'm new to Samsung, had htc, and friend with note 3 would like to fix this also.
    Thanks for any help.

Yea it does that for ear safety. I know the s4 did that too, but if rooted, you could flash a file to stop that from happening

What is war safety? So no app, I would have to root phone? I was hoping not to, but I'm pretty desperate to stop this volume from dropping automatically while I'm driving and plug in axillary cable if I want to start listening to songs on phone.

I found Tasker! ! It's in play store and no root needed! Yay! ! I can program it to turn my volume all the way up when I connect my auxiliary cable, I'm now a happy camper. That was just so annoying while driving to have to go back and mess with volume on the phone. Now I can just use volume on steering wheel like my stereo.
Hope anyone else annoyed can see this post and use Tasker.

I don't know about the rest of you, but not only is that warning thing a pain (but somewhat fixable with Tasker), but the sound quality and volume coming through the headphone jack is just not very good.

I gave the S5 to my wife to try out, and have been using my Galaxy Nexus, and this morning I plugged it into the auxillary jack and BAM! - the music was so much louder, and clearer, and the sound was just much better quality.

The S5 has a problem with that sound output through the headphone jack.

    Hey DiamondRanch

I got the Tasker now and i'm wondering how do you set the volume when connecting the auxiliary cable?
Do i do that in profiles or tasks or scenes??

    Sincerely,
    John
