    Default "call barring rejected."

Whenever I try to enable call barring to prevent international calls (turns out I made an accidental call to Canada thinking it was just another state) I get the error message in the title. It asks for a password (and uses that word, not PIN or PIN2) and restricts entry to numbers only, and only four digits long. No generic PINs or specific PINs I've set work. I've even locked my PIN2 and unlocked it with a PUK2 code from T-Mobile so I could reset it to a PIN of my own and that number doesn't work, either, even after giving it a few hours to settle in because the rep online said it could take an hour or two.

Anyone know how to enable call barring so I can enable or disable international calls whenever I want? I don't want to have to call T-Mobile each time.

Thread fell off the front page. I've called T-Mobile, gone in the store, and chatted online. I was told the code is my PIN2, though it asks for a "password", then I was told they had to do it on their end, though the changes aren't propagating to my device, as far as I can tell.

No. Nobody could ever tell me what it was, from T-Mobile or Samsung, and I still don't know. I gave up out of sheer frustration from having to talk to so many people that really don't know anything more than the basic interface of the phone.

If anyone has any clues or suggestions, I'm still open to them. I'd like to figure this one out, but I've lost all hope that the people that make or sell the phones can help me.

I used to call my son when he was working in Canada and I don't recall the charges being out of line.

In fact, I don't recall that I got charged extra at all.

I'm with Verizon and the only thing I have "barred/blocked" is International Roaming.

I've made calls to Dublin, Ireland and talked for about 5 minutes or so. That didn't even make a dent in my regular monthly phone charges.

Maybe Verizon handles it differently, but T-Mobile charged me for it.
