When you open s Health, hit the menu button in the top left Corner (you'll see the words s Health) right next to it. Once you open that menu, you'll see stress half way down the list.

I wonder what it's measuring to determine your stress level? Just your heartbeat? My resting heartbeat is mid 50s. My husband's is 90 :o So if mine were, say, 80 because of exertion, would that indicate (on the S5) stress? Exertion doesn't necessarily mean you're stressed.

I'm definitely not stressed and it has me in the yellow. I wonder what it knows that I don't know yet haha! I don't know how it works, but I'm not sure it's 100% accurate.

Thanks for sharing! I hadn't done anything with the S Health app but decided to play around with it after reading this. I'll have to read how they measure stress levels.

My phone would blow up if it tried to measure my stress level after a phone call to Samsung technical support!
I think they cap the required educational level at 5th grade :o

I updated the S Heath app after seeing the review on Android central and i get
    S-Health now checks stress levels-screenshot_2014-10-27-12-32-08.jpg
I contacted Samsung and well the response was strange the app will not even restore my settings
so that is two problems it worked fine till they updated

I don't see the stress function anywhere either, and I had the same message after updating S Health earlier. Anyone know what the problem is?

Samsung need to no there is issues with this and they need reporting

I think Samsung (tech support) is all too used to having egg on their face. They're mostly useless! But I love my phone! <lol> BTW, my Stress feature works just fine and has since I bought the phone in May. It's still working after my 4.4.4 update. So is my husband's.

I find the stress feature to be pretty much a gimmick anyway. My wife is wound tighter than a banjo string (she has to wear a mouth guard at night to keep from grinding her teeth down because she's so stressed) and the stress meter reads full low for her every time.

I'm one of those "wound tighter than a banjo string" too but I'm not always "stressed". When I am, it shows up on the stress meter. When I'm not, it indicates that as well. I've found it to be (for me) pretty accurate.
