I have Kies 3.0 and Samsung SideSync installed on my PC.
SideSync app is on the S5 Verizon phone.
I have noticed that each time I plug in the cable it immediately says "connected as an installer".
After all the usual syncing up between the PC and the phone, I can look at the storage on the phone (from the PC) just like I did before either of those apps were installed.
Am I missing something?
Is there something out there I can't access that I should?
I do not have a SD Card in my phone. It is bare bones stock 16 gB version.
I have noticed of late that Kies and SideSync are refusing to connect to the phone. that means no more backups with Kies or using SideSync.
haven't really drilled down deep into this, but I am thinking of uninstalling the apps on the PC and Phone and revert back to plain phone again to see what that does.
