Low Volume with stereo minijack cable to line-in

Hey.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, when I connect my sgs5 to any line in via the minijack the volume is extremely low, to the point of uselessness?

Is there a way to fix this or a better alternative?
Any way to get my sgs5 to stream its audio to my pc without needing to root? or would I need to root to get around the bluetooth problem that seems to be happening (it cannot find the drivers basicly?)

Any help would be appriciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried cranking up the volume on the phone as well? The headphone jack isn't an actual Line Out, so in those situations, the volume from the main sound system will depend on both its own volume control and the phone's volume.

You can try AirDroid--from what I read, it looks like you can play music files from your phone using your computer browser.
