Bluetooth Question

I was wondering what kind of bluetooth I need for this phone (s5) to work? I currently have a bluetooth and it won't connect.

Are you talking about a Bluetooth headset? What brand and model? Is the phone simply not detecting it?

It's a rocketfish rf-qx4-t it will detect it but it comes up with letters and numbers and it says unable to communicate

Letters and numbers where? In the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone? What happens if you tap it? Try unpairing it first, by tapping on the settings icon next to the listing and selecting Unpair Then Search for Devices and see if it comes up correctly this time.

Also, have you tried rebooting your phone, then trying to pair again?
