I got my GS5 about 2 weeks ago and the battery has not been good compared to what I've been reading on the forums. I know typically a full day's analysis is wanted but i just wanted to post what I've been experiencing.
My phone has been unplugged for 45 minutes and I've lost 4% battery. I've downloaded MacroDroid but I want to know if there's an issue with my device before I start getting into battery saver apps. I have gmail, FB, twitter, instagram installed and I use them randomly during the day since I work. Primarily during the work days I have my gmail sync up. I've done two factory resets and it doesn't seem to be fixing anything. I disabled all the verizon and samsung bloatware but it doesn't seem to be doing much. At present I have WiFi, location, mobile data and sync enabled. Everything else is disabled, included the power saving. I want to see if its my battery or device that isn't working before I go the power saving route.
Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
