Like the description says, my S5 constantly tells me I have one email and when I click on it, there is nothing there. Before this, it would update me every fifteen minutes telling me I had the same 8 emails even though I deleted them, then it just started showing the one. Then earlier today it stopped syncing entirely until I deleted the account it says has the stuck email and added it again.
I am completely new to Androids, having been stuck with a dinky windows phone for the past 5 years, I am at a total loss as to what I have to do to fix this. I've tried deleting said account and adding it, restarting the phone, turning it off and waiting for almost an hour and then back on. That little (1) is driving me crazy. lol
EDIT: While typing this, I got the "Welcome to" email for this site and noticed that it's now stuck telling me I have 3 emails... what the heck...
