Setting Messages as your default app

Hi, I have an issue with this screen popping up about setting messages as default messaging app. I have not clicked ok and now I cannont send or receive messages. I follow the instructions to go back to normal and it just wont go back. this is the 3rd time this has happened. first time went into store and the guy somehow got it back, 2nd it fixed itself and now I am just pissed off. how do I avoid this happening?

Whatever message app u are using you have to say yes to it being put as default or it won't let you send messages.
